The Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting national visibility and tourism through strategic partnerships and event support. In a recent collaboration with the BACS Group organisers of the much-anticipated All Star Festival, a highlight on Ghana’s sporting calendar. GTDC played a pivotal role in the logistics and transportation arrangements for the Ghana National Football Team, the Black Stars.

As part of its support package, GTDC provided dedicated transportation services for the team, ensuring a seamless and stylish journey from the Marriott Hotel at Airport City to the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon. This was executed through GTDC’s innovative car rental initiative, Fleet Pool Management Services, which has become synonymous with reliable, quality transport solutions in Ghana’s tourism and events sectors.

The highlight of the drive was the vibrant convoy led by GTDC’s branded double-decker bus, which cruised through key urban corridors including Madina, Adenta, and Atomic Junction. The colourful display attracted the attention of residents and passers-by, who came out in their numbers to cheer on the national heroes. With waving hands, mobile phone cameras flashing, and spontaneous celebrations erupting along the route, the moment became more than just a ride it was a shared national experience that brought the community closer to its stars.

This initiative by GTDC not only added glamour and efficiency to the event but also served as a strategic brand visibility campaign. It reaffirmed the company’s belief that tourism can intersect meaningfully with other sectors such as sports, arts, and culture. By ensuring that even logistical elements are infused with visibility, engagement, and pride, GTDC continues to champion the idea that tourism is everywhere and it moves with us.

GTDC remains resolute in building strong partnerships and delivering innovative services that elevate Ghana’s image on both local and international stages. With projects like these, GTDC proves that national development and tourism are inextricably linked, and that every journey can tell a story worth celebrating.
