The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC), Prof. Kobby Mensah, invited to the beachfront at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel for a strategic yet experiential engagement.
The invitation, extended by Seth Kugblenu, Head of Marketing and Sales, was designed not only to advance business discussions but also to share first-hand some of the recent successes recorded at the beach. Mr. Kugblenu took the opportunity to introduce Prof. Mensah to new additions at the facility, alongside a range of emerging experiential tourism offerings curated to enhance guest engagement and leisure value.

The meeting also served as a platform to conclude discussions on the onboarding of the Ghana Tourism Marketplace (GTM), Ghana’s one-stop digital platform for tourism experiences, positioning La Palm Royal Beach Hotel to benefit from increased digital visibility and market access.
Beyond onboarding, discussions expanded into collaborative ideas aimed at enriching Accra’s tourism experience. These included potential end-point activities for #AccraByNight, such as live band sessions and relaxed beachfront engagements, as well as concepts around hosting Movie in the Park and other immersive leisure activities within the hotel’s beachfront environment.
The engagement reflected a shared vision to move beyond traditional hospitality, embracing experiential tourism that blends leisure, culture, and storytelling setting the stage for future collaborations between GTDC and La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
