The Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) proudly marked its presence at the Evandy/Bani Hall Week Celebrations, held at the University of Ghana, as part of its broader strategy to extend its brand visibility nationwide and engage with the youth demographic particularly students, who are emerging stakeholders in Ghana’s tourism growth.
With an eye-catching setup that featured branded marketing collateral including a well-designed activation tent, telescopic flags, photo frames, and 3D cut-outs, GTDC strategically positioned itself at a high-traffic area within the Evandy Hostel premises. This location was ideal for attracting the attention of students, visitors, and guests participating in the four-day celebration.

Throughout the event, GTDC interacted with a diverse audience including students, faculty members, and other attendees who visited the stand to inquire about the company’s operations and services. The engagement created an opportunity for the team to introduce and promote key tourism products such as the Accra By Night tour experience, the FleetPool Management Services, and general tour packages offered by the company.

The event provided not only brand visibility but also a valuable platform for direct consumer engagement and feedback. GTDC's participation underscores its commitment to marketing Ghana’s tourism in innovative and relatable ways, while actively connecting with new and future markets.
The Communication and Marketing Team took the initiative to engage with various Hall Presidents, exploring potential partnerships for next year’s hall week celebrations. Central to the proposed collaboration is the inclusion of the AccraByNight tour as an official activity for students during the festivities.
In addition, GTDC used the opportunity to network with other notable brands and stakeholders such as BulkClix, 3Music TV, YFM, restaurant owners, and event organizers. These engagements are intended to pave the way for future collaborations that will support the effective promotion and delivery of GTDC’s tourism products and services.
